Gary James Boyce, Non Executive Chairman
Gary has over 30 years experience within the technology sector, over twenty years as Managing Director or Chairman, mainly focused on ERP software applications. Working Internationally through both direct and indirect channels to the SME market, Gary has gained considerable experience of the customer demands within these enterprises.
As Managing Director of JBA, Gary led teams of 70 sales staff, 400 services staff and 600 in product development and marketing. Gary was the driving force behind JBA’s niche product strategy, delivering high fit to client needs with sector specific applications.
Gary’s focus within Lakeview is on mentoring the senior management team and driving company, product and channel strategy to provide total turnkey solutions to the SME market. Lakeview will exploit technology to deliver what its customers want without having to compromise.
Gary has a post graduate diploma in management studies, an NLP coaching diploma and is a fellow of the RSA.
Mark Greatrex, Chief Executive Officer
After working in the business software industry for over 25 years Mark has an excellent pedigree in software development, product management and professional services at SVP, GM and Director levels. Having spent a considerable percentage of his career to date at JBA, Tetra, Sage, QAD and Lawson, Mark has a thorough understanding of the requirements of a business software solution to meet the 21st Century needs of SME businesses.
Mark was a key member of the senior management team who successfully floated Tetra on the LSE in 1997 and subsequently sold the business to Sage in 1999.
As CEO of Lakeview Mark's primary responsibilty is for the profitable growth and development of the business whilst still maintaining Lakeview's market leading reputation for product and service delivery.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science (Special Honours) degree in Mathematics from the University of Sheffield.
Russell Kirby, Sales Director
Russell has over 20 years experience in the business software solutions marketplace and has held Senior Sales positions at ERP specialists Panacea, Fujitsu and Systems Union before joining Lakeview in 2007.
Russell has an excellent track record in building highly effective and motivated ERP sales teams. His sales approach is a consultive one, working closely with new and existing customers to understand their business needs and how Lakeview can help deliver tangible business benefits.
One of his stated primary objectives within Lakeview is to further enhance the communication between Lakeview and its customers with more 'face time' as well as more information flowing both directions.
George McDonough, Chief Financial Officer
George started his career with Menzies and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1999 before joining KPMG as an Audit Manager. In 2001, he rejoined Menzies where he gained experience in corporate finance predominately working for SME clients.
In 2005, he become the Group Financial Controller at Journey Group plc before becoming Commercial & Finance Director in 2007. During his time at Journey Group, he has been responsible for raising external finance, managing key commercial contracts and the implementation of ERP systems.
George joined Lakeview in May 2010 and brings with him considerable commercial experience gained predominately with SME businesses. He has a BSc in Economics from Reading University.
Chris Hems, Product Director
Having spent 6 years as Lakeview Consulting Manage and prior to that with a Lakeview customer, Chris has a clear insight into how customers can fully utilise Lakeview's products to benefit their organisation. Chris’s background is in the food and drink industry in the specialist areas of stock control and logistics.
Chris’s primary objective at Lakeview is to analyse the business and technology needs for our target markets and existing customers. He is then responsible for taking these initial concepts all the way through product development to market acceptance.
Chris has a BSc in Mathematics from Exeter University.
Matthew Noonan, Technical Director
Mat Noonan has worked for Lakeview since 1991 and over the years has moved between the development, hardware engineering and technical support departments. As a result of Mat’s broad involvement over the years within the organisation, he has an in-depth understanding of the technologies used to create, deploy and support the Lakeview products.
Mat’s primary responsibilities are to ensure that any technical solution provided by Lakeview matches the business requirements with the highest quality and using the latest technology available. Mat also heads-up any 3rd party product integration to ensure that solutions are created in a generic fashion and enables a smooth implementation.
