The Lakeview system comprises two components: A server-based database and client-based software. The server component is installed and setup by Lakeview and any maintenance of that component is provided by Lakeview. The Client software is initially installed by Lakeview but is then updated from time to time by your IT team, or the by users themselves. Telephone and “remote access” support services are always on-hand to ensure that application of any updates is smooth and controlled process.
The software operates using a Client-Server relationship with the database; the result of this is that network traffic is kept to a minimum to ensure that other applications on your network are not affected.
Regular Quarterly Updates are provided with a manual explaining the additions to your software so that you can review them prior to installation of the Update.
Lakeview provides support via telephone, e-Mail, Internet or on-site (for Lakeview provided hardware) with an aim to ensure that you experience no system downtime during your day-to-day operation. An on-line Knowledgebase is available as well as a Customer Forum to enable you to liaise directly with other Lakeview customers.
