Landed Costs
As prices from overseas are becoming more competitive it is imperative to be able to be able to account for and analyse additional costs beyond the initial purchase value of goods. The additional costs incurred from freight, insurance, duty and various handling charges can often make importing goods cost prohibitive. The landed costs module allows analysis and attribution of these costs to your inventory enabling true margin analysis.Consignments
Create consignments and build up a shipping route and estimated time to delivery. Add multiple purchase lines from as many different purchase orders as required, assign estimated or real additional costs to the consignment and a distribution method based on value, weight, volume or straight qty split. Post updated delivery information through the system to all related purchase lines to give up-to-date visibility of goods-in to the whole organisation. Bulk deliver the goods from the consignment and optionally create consolidated invoices for goods from different purchase orders for the same supplier.
Duty
Assign a tariff code to each product and the duty rate of that tariff code when imported from nominated countries, any goods that incur duty will have this automatically applied when the goods come into free circulation and will create the related journal or sell direct to bonded clients from your own bonded warehouse.
Excise can also be calculated on relevant goods and posted as applicable.
