Depending on your organisation’s traceability requirements, batch tracking can be as rigorous as a financial ledger. An invoice posting on the ledger cannot be manually undone, except by posting a credit note. So can it work with stock movements.
Flexible Batch Tracking: FIFO or 'any-in-any-out'
To accommodate real-world scenarios, the system allows deviations from standard process such as planning to use/deliver from one batch, but eventually utilising others.
Limiting Product Recall Liability
Close matching of works order quantities to sales order quantities, together with matching of component delivered quantities to their usage in a works order helps reduce potential recall liability.
Batch Testing
Part of quality assurance requires for certain components / products to be certified. The Batch Testing Module allows you to prevent the usage of untested batches of goods selectively and to force a test procedure those that need to be certified. For simplicity of use, the system can handle the whole test procedure from designating items to be tested, to designing a test routine and criteria. C of C’s can subsequently be produced and used at any later stage.
